I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
